Job summary

Boeing United Kingdom Limited, based in Sheffield, is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst to support material requirements planning, order release, and inventory optimization for production operations. You will work across functions to align priorities and improve delivery performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with operations, suppliers and quality teams, analysing data in ERP/MRP systems, and driving continuous improvements in inventory and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

  • Experience planning and releasing orders to support production schedules.
  • Proven ability to optimize multi-site inventory levels and manage safety stock.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ERP/MRP proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse complex material requirements and incorporate Bills of Materials and production schedules into planning systems.
  • Initiate, coordinate and authorize release of purchase and production orders ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Develop and control inventory targets across sites to balance service levels and costs.
  • Document and resolve order delinquencies and report schedule adherence issues.
  • Participate in audits to ensure stock record integrity and compliance.
  • Lead SCM process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Coordinate with operations, quality, warehousing, purchasing, engineering, suppliers and customers to resolve issues.
  • Generate SCM performance metrics (OTD, inventory turns, forecast accuracy) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide end-of-month support and assist team as needed.
