Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategies across the UK and Europe, supporting operations in 10 European markets. You will collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations to source innovative products, transform supplier landscape, and deliver cost savings.

You will drive sustainability, manage indirect procurement, services and fleet, and lead negotiations with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Significant strategic sourcing experience across multiple procurement categories.
• Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and process improvements.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and contract discussions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across cross-functional environments.
• Commercial mindset with market assessment skills.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects and deadlines.
• Interest in sustainability and responsible sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans across product and procurement categories.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to improve performance and value.
• Partner with Product Development and Supply Chain on new products and materials.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead cost savings, process efficiencies, and whole-life cost optimization.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, including recycled materials and reduced carbon impact.
• Set supplier ESG goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead end-of-life planning for products and responsible disposal.
• Prepare sourcing recommendations and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Support supplier negotiations and provide commercial input on contracts.
