Job summary

HealthTrust Europe LLP is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on negotiating national agreements and driving best-in-class pricing and contract terms.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing, market research, bid activities, and supplier management for assigned categories within a hybrid Birmingham framework. We value 2–3 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, and proficiency with e-Procurement

Qualifications

• 2-3 years procurement experience with a proven track record of delivery against targets.
• Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience.
• 1 year customer engagement experience.
• Experienced negotiator.
• Full end-to-end procurement process.
• Supplier relationship management and project management experience.
• Accomplished user of e-Procurement systems, Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for assigned categories including market research, bid preparation, RFI, strategy development and validation.
• Develop category strategies with manager guidance and risk mitigation.
• Present strategies and awards to internal stakeholders for review and validation.
• Undertake pre-assessment of award scenarios to inform sourcing approaches.
• Manage procurement processes to deliver value for stakeholders.
• Oversee supplier relationships during sourcing and conduct supplier reviews.
• Build relationships with customers via presentations and ensure portfolio growth.
