Job summary

Brandon James in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their Birmingham-based team. The role is permanent and hybrid, with 1-2 days per week in the office, providing balance between collaboration and home working.

You will manage procurement from planning to contract award, develop strategies, prepare tender and contract documentation, manage framework agreements, and support tender evaluation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering public sector procurement exercises and contract awards
• Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023
• Experience using framework agreements and other compliant procurement routes
• Experience preparing procurement, tender and contract documentation
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Construction, built environment or infrastructure procurement experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activity from planning through to contract award
• Develop procurement strategies and prepare tender and contract documentation
• Manage framework agreements and other compliant routes to market
• Support tender evaluation and contract award processes
• Maintain procurement records and governance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of services
