IONATE is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead direct-material sourcing across engineering builds, pilot runs and low-volume UK manufacture. You will own supplier selection, contracting and cost models, while mitigating supply risk and aligning with finance and manufacturing teams.

You will map supplier capability, negotiate terms, and drive continuous improvements to cost, delivery and quality as volumes grow.

Responsabilités

• Build direct-material sourcing strategies.
• Own category and supplier strategies for critical components, assemblies, tooling and production equipment.
• Translate demand into material requirements.
• Translate unit demand and BOM revisions into dated component requirements and orders.
• Maintain material plan, PO coverage and delivery dates during pilot and ramp.
• Map capable suppliers and coordinate RFI/RFQ, due diligence and onboarding.
