Welsh Rugby Union Group is seeking a Social Media Manager to plan, deliver and evaluate social media activity across the WRU Group portfolio, including national teams and Principality Stadium channels.

The role requires strong content production, platform knowledge, analytics and regulatory compliance awareness. Welsh language capabilities are desirable and a UK driving licence is a plus.

Formación

• Strong creative social content production skills using mobile devices.
• Proven experience developing, delivering and evaluating social media strategies.
• Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and trends.
• Strong use of social media analytics and data-driven decisions.
• Experience with content management systems and editing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Welsh language desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage an insight-led social media strategy that supports WRU Group objectives.
• Plan, create, publish and evaluate content across WRU social channels.
• Manage day-to-day operation of social platforms including scheduling and live coverage.
• Use data and analytics to assess performance and improve content.
• Grow addressable audience and engagement with platform-specific content.
• Promote Welsh culture, language and values through outputs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximise impact.
