The Welsh Rugby Union is seeking a Junior Content Producer to support year-round video content across its digital channels, including the Wales senior teams, Principality Stadium, community rugby and corporate accounts.

Based at Principality Stadium in Cardiff with a hybrid working pattern, you will shoot, edit and deliver high-quality video for Instagram, YouTube, X and other platforms, using Sony FX3 and Adobe Premiere Pro while contributing ideas from briefs and managing footage.

The Welsh Rugby Union is hiring a Junior Content Producer for a hands-on role supporting year-round video content across its digital channels, including the Wales senior men's and women's teams, Principality Stadium, community rugby and corporate accounts.

The Role

Working within the Content team, you will help shoot, edit and deliver high-quality video that brings Welsh rugby closer to its audiences, from international camps and matchdays to community rugby, campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit high-quality video for the WRU's digital and social channels throughout the year
• Operate professional equipment, including Sony FX3 and DSLR or mirrorless cameras, to capture interviews, behind-the-scenes access and matchday coverage
• Edit video in Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Premiere Pro, for a range of platforms and formats
• Produce platform-specific edits for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X
• Assist with filming at international camps, matchdays, community events and commercial activations
• Work from creative briefs and contribute original ideas
• Manage footage and project files, ensuring content is labelled, stored and backed up

About You

• Practical experience of shooting and editing video, through employment, freelance work, education or a strong portfolio
• Confident operating professional cameras, including the Sony FX3
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with working knowledge of the wider Creative Cloud suite
• Understanding of how to adapt video for different social platforms and aspect ratios
• A strong creative eye and an interest in rugby, sport, Welsh culture and digital storytelling
• Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable
