Sirona care & health is seeking two Speech and Language Therapists to join the Experts at Hand programme as Advanced Practitioners across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The roles focus on strategic leadership, system transformation and improving access to SLT expertise in education settings for children and young people.

You will drive SEND reform delivery, collaborate with schools, authorities and NHS partners, and contribute to developing a sustainable, needs‑led SEND

Competenze

• Significant post‑registration experience as a Speech and Language Therapist working with children and young people.
• Experience leading service improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Experience in SEND system improvement programmes and cross‑agency collaboration.

Mansioni

• Lead local SEND priorities and support implementation of SEND reforms across BNSSG.
• Provide strategic SLT leadership across education, health and care systems.
• Influence integration of SLT expertise within mainstream education for earlier intervention.
• Collaborate with schools, local authorities and health partners to drive system‑wide improvement.
• Support workforce development through coaching, supervision and capacity building.
• Use data and service intelligence to inform service development and reduce inequalities.
• Champion co‑production with children, young people and families in service design.
• Contribute to a sustainable, needs‑led SEND system with timely access to support.

Formazione

MSc Advanced Practice, Leadership, Education, Public Health or equivalent

HCPC Registration as Speech and Language Therapist

Practice Educator/Coaching/Mentoring or Leadership qualification
