Sirona care & health CIC is seeking two experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join the Experts at Hand programme as Advanced Practitioners across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). These roles will provide strategic leadership to drive system-wide improvement in SEND and increase access to SLT expertise within education settings for children and young people.

The post involves working across education, health and SEND partnerships, embedding the Experts at Hand

Competenze

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist is required.
• Postgraduate qualification in advanced practice, leadership, education or public health is desirable.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring or leadership development is expected.

Mansioni

• Lead the delivery of local SEND priorities and support national SEND reforms.
• Provide strategic SLT leadership across education, health and care systems.
• Influence integration of SLT expertise within mainstream education to enable earlier interventions.
• Partner with schools, local authorities, and NHS providers to drive system-wide improvement.
• Support workforce development through coaching, supervision and capacity-building.
• Use data and service intelligence to inform service design and reduce inequalities in access.
• Champion co-production with children, young people and families to shape services.
• Contribute to a sustainable, needs-led SEND system that improves accessibility.
