Job summary

NHS Scotland is inviting applications for a Band 8A Service Manager within NHS Grampian Occupational Health Services. The role leads senior operational and business functions, including administration, digital systems, finance, contracts, and workforce resources across Grampian sites.

You will work with the Head of Service, clinical leads, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver service improvements, manage demand and waiting times, and drive data-led governance and assurance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in health or complex service environments is desirable.
• Ability to lead and manage competing priorities and drive change.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and governance reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the service's business and operational functions including admin, digital systems, and contracts.
• Oversee demand, capacity, activity and waiting times, supporting recovery plans.
• Develop and improve the G2 occupational health system; ensure data quality and accessible reporting.
• Provide assurance to senior leaders and governance groups and manage performance.
