SF Partners is seeking a Stock Control & Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating purchasing activities, and ensuring materials are available for daily operations.

You will use SAP and Microsoft Excel to support inventory accuracy, purchasing efficiency and overall operational performance. The position involves hands-on stock control, supplier coordination, and reporting responsibilities.

Formación

• Experience in stock control, purchasing, procurement administration, supply chain or materials coordination.
• Experience using SAP for purchasing, inventory management or goods receipting.
• Experience raising purchase orders, managing suppliers and tracking deliveries.
• Understanding of stock accuracy, inventory levels and stocktaking procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate stock discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Good communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor stock levels and ensure materials and products are available to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP and other relevant systems.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, shortages and delivery issues.
• Conduct regular stock checks and support periodic stocktakes.
• Monitor excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock, identifying opportunities to improve inventory efficiency.
• Ensure stock movements and goods receipts are recorded accurately.
• Raise and process purchase orders in line with business requirements.
• Obtain supplier quotations and support purchasing decisions.
• Monitor outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Review supplier pricing, lead times and delivery performance.
• Resolve purchasing and delivery discrepancies, escalating issues where necessary.
• Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing records.
• Prepare purchasing, stock and supplier performance reports using SAP and Excel.
• Monitor inventory information to identify potential supply issues.
• Work closely with Finance, Warehouse and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure purchasing documentation, goods receipts and stock records are accurate and up to date.
• Support improvements to purchasing and stock control procedures.
• Follow relevant health and safety, quality and operational procedures.
