Strategic Sales Manager (FinTech/Cryptocurrency/Stablecoin/Remote)

Our client is the largest and first licensed on/off-ramp platform for stablecoins in Africa. They are dedicated to offering innovative solutions in the African stablecoins space. The company aims to make stablecoins accessible and understandable for everyone, providing secure and user-friendly platforms for financial transactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Workplace: Remote

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in Business Development or Head of Sales roles
  • Experience in full-cycle B2B sales, including onboarding, integration, and partnership management on live accounts
  • Strong ability to close deals
  • Ability to learn quickly, make strategic decisions, and influence broadly across the organization
  • Thorough understanding of the FinTech/Cryptocurrency space
  • Knowledge of B2B discipline, client management, and third-party distribution channels
  • Experience in sales and business development within FinTech, especially API solutions and affinity partnerships
  • Ability to collaborate with product teams to drive API adoption
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and best practices
  • Act as a technical liaison between B2B, service engineering, and business teams
  • Build solutions that drive growth
  • Combine industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and customer focus to improve performance
  • Operate effectively in a transparent, non-political culture

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new business and partners through prospecting, qualification, and negotiation
  • Identify target clients and segments
  • Generate new partnerships, including contract negotiation and proposal evaluation
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with leadership, promote partnerships
  • Manage partner pipeline and report weekly
  • Visit partners, customers, prospects, and attend events
  • Achieve or surpass revenue targets
  • Negotiate business terms and contracts with strategic partners, coordinating with legal, marketing, and admin teams
  • Drive new revenue from financial institutions and affinity markets
  • Develop product offerings to meet client needs
  • Regularly review partnerships with leadership to ensure resourcing and success
