Strategic Sales Manager (FinTech/Cryptocurrency/Stablecoin/Remote)

Our client is the largest and the first licensed on/off-ramp platform for stablecoins in Africa. They are dedicated to offering innovative solutions in the African stablecoins space. Their mission is to make stablecoins accessible and understandable for everyone, providing secure and user-friendly platforms for financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in Business Development or Head of Sales role
  • Experience in full-cycle B2B sales, including onboarding, integration, and partnership management
  • Strong ability to close deals
  • Ability to adapt quickly, make tough decisions, and influence broadly
  • Thorough understanding of the FinTech/Cryptocurrency space
  • Knowledge of B2B sales discipline, client management, and third-party distribution channels
  • Experience selling API solutions and partnering with product teams to drive adoption
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and best practices
  • Act as a technical liaison between B2B, service engineering, and business teams
  • Build solutions that drive growth
  • Combine industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and customer focus to improve performance
  • Operate transparently in a no-politics environment

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new business and partners through prospecting, qualifying, and negotiations
  • Identify target clients and segments
  • Generate and manage new partnerships from start to execution
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with leadership and promote partnerships
  • Manage partner pipeline and report weekly
  • Visit partners/customers and attend events
  • Achieve or surpass revenue targets
  • Negotiate business terms and contracts with strategic partners
  • Coordinate new business revenues from financial institutions and affinity markets
  • Develop product offerings to meet client needs
  • Review partnerships with leadership to ensure success
