Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is hiring a Senior Risk and Control Manager based in Central London with travel 2/3 days per week. The role strengthens Enterprise Risk Management and embeds the BAM Control Framework, partnering with the Risk and Control Lead and Finance Leadership Team to enable performance through robust controls.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in risk management, solid financial controls experience, and professional qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk and Business.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) desirable.
• Min of 10 years’ experience in enterprise risk management, internal controls, assurance, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Designs and strengthens risk and control frameworks across finance.
• Lead internal control assessments and maturity reviews.
• Support implementation of BAM Control Framework in UK&I.
• Conduct control walkthroughs, testing and remediation planning.
• Promote automation, Lean thinking, and data-driven insights.
