Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Risk and Control Analyst to join the finance function and to be based in London. The role strengthens the Risk and Control Agenda, moving from a compliance-led framework to an embedded internal controls environment, aligned with Group strategy.

You will work in a small expert team across the UK&I division, supporting timely deployment, training, and engagement with Group teams, with travel to the office 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business or related field.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is desirable.
• 5+ years in internal controls, assurance or related exposure.
• Experience in complex/project-driven environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and embed the BAM Control Framework across UK&I.
• Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders with strong finance/controls expertise.
• Support training, change management and communications activities.
• Conduct risk/control assessments and root cause analysis to close gaps.
• Promote a risk and control culture focused on value creation.
