Job summary

The University of Portsmouth is modernising its pay, reward and benefits framework. This role supports shaping and delivering reward strategy, managing benefits supplier relationships, analysing sector trends, and helping colleagues understand the value of their reward package.

You will work closely with the Deputy Director of HR (Reward and Recognition) to implement and operate reward, recognition and benefits schemes, and to promote the employee value proposition while ensuring value‑for‑money

Qualifications

• Experience delivering reward and benefits strategies.
• Ability to develop reward interventions and communicate their value.
• Experience analysing sector trends for pay and benefits benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and operation of key reward, recognition and benefits schemes.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure value-for-money services.
• Lead communication and promotion of the university's reward and benefits offer.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Director of HR (Reward and Recognition) on strategy.
