Job summary

Barclays Bank PLC is seeking a Relationship Director to join the Mid Corporate team in the Staffordshire/Wolverhampton area. You will manage a defined portfolio, grow income and ensure high client satisfaction through multi-stakeholder relationships while maintaining robust risk controls.

The role requires experience leading deal teams, strong negotiation, and knowledge of corporate banking products (debt, cash management, trade, FX).

Qualifications

Experience in part of or leading deal teams to deliver client transactions, products or services.
Good working knowledge of corporate banking products including debt, cash management, card payments, trade & working capital and FX.
Credit skills and debt finance – risk accreditation L1 or L2 or at minimum demonstrable financial understanding of business with the ability to undertake L2 within 6 months.
Broad understanding/knowledge of the local area within Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, and Shrewsbury.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients to grow income and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Develop deep, multi-stakeholder relationships with existing and new contacts while ensuring effective risk management.
Provide strategic guidance on financial solutions across Barclays' portfolio and communicate value propositions to clients.
