Job summary

Sgscare is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead a group of children's homes across Wiltshire and the South West. You will oversee care quality, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance while driving performance and staff development.

The role requires a leadership track record in children's residential settings, Ofsted insight, and a willingness to undertake Level 5 Diploma. Salary up to £75,000 with a £12,000 joining bonus and a 10% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification or professional qualification for working with children (Level 4+).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to undertake it.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic operational leadership ensuring high-quality care and compliance.
• Achieve and maintain Responsible Individual status.
• Drive performance to achieve Good/Outstanding Ofsted ratings and financial viability.
• Lead safeguarding, statutory compliance and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Develop and support a high-performing staff team.
