Job summary

Health Recruit Network seeks a Regional Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of children's residential homes across Wiltshire. You will lead strategic delivery, support Registered Managers and ensure safeguarding and Ofsted standards are consistently met.

The role requires proven leadership in children's residential care, a Level 4+ qualification (or higher) and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, plus a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home rated Good or above.
• Proven operational leadership within children's residential care and RI status experience.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of children's residential homes.
• Support, develop and performance-manage Registered Managers and their teams.
• Achieve and maintain Responsible Individual status.
• Drive service quality and regulatory compliance, working towards Good and Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
• Oversee safeguarding, risk management and compliance with children's homes regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets and the commercial viability of services.
• Build strong working relationships with local authorities and other key stakeholders.
• Support the opening, development and successful registration of new services.
• Promote a positive, child-centred culture focused on safeguarding and improving outcomes.
