Job summary

Ground Control is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio across Reading and the surrounding areas. You will oversee a busy region, manage multiple field teams and drive performance while maintaining high standards of service for a wide range of commercial clients.

You will build strong client relationships, balance competing demands and proactively identify improvements to enhance contract delivery and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multi-site service delivery contracts such as grounds maintenance, landscaping or facilities management.
• Strong leadership with track record overseeing field teams and driving performance.
• Excellent client relationship management and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of grounds maintenance services across a large portfolio and ensure contractual standards are met.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships, acting as primary contact and driving continuous improvement.
• Manage field teams, set clear expectations, and optimise resources for high performance.
• Oversee ~300+ sites, prioritise workloads and resolve issues to meet service levels.
• Identify opportunities for contract growth and present value-added solutions to clients.
