Job summary

OPDC (Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation) seeks an experienced Development Manager to drive strategic development across Old Oak and Park Royal. You will support the Delivery Directorate with land assembly, financing, and governance, ensuring timely delivery of housing and regeneration objectives.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (chartered surveyor or similar) and relevant real estate development experience.
• Experience negotiating within complex and political environments.
• Understanding of planning, place-making principles and regeneration strategies.
• Awareness of project financing and management structures; ability to interpret financial appraisals.
• Experience managing professional services contracts and budget governance.
• Good commercial awareness of London housing and regeneration issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead on strategic development projects to support redevelopment of Old Oak and OPDC-led sites.
• Support land assembly, development, infrastructure and design teams to meet housing and regeneration objectives.
• Provide financial controls across projects, monitor budgets and forecasting.
• Prepare decision papers and governance/finance reporting with risk management.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary consultants and build relationships with landowners, developers and investors.
• Oversee procurement of services in line with OPDC procedures.
