Job summary

Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is seeking a Senior Development role to manage strategic projects for the OPDC area, reporting to the Senior Development Manager. You will support land assembly, financial control, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver housing and regeneration objectives.

The role requires development and regeneration experience, strong organisation, and stakeholder management. Hybrid working model with a busy, high‑resilience environment.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (chartered surveyor or similar) and real estate development experience.
• Negotiating ability within complex and political environments.
• Experience of planning and development and place making principles.
• Awareness of project financing and management structures and ability to interrogate financial appraisals.
• Experience of managing supply contracts and financial/contract management in property sector.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of London housing and regeneration issues.

Responsibilities

• Support OPDC’s strategic development plans for Old Oak and Park Royal including viability, phasing, land assembly and delivery.
• Provide financial analysis to support Delivery Directorate for development briefs, procurement, land transactions and budget forecasting.
• Manage development projects with accurate records and reporting.
• Offer solution‑oriented advice on capital projects including land acquisition, development of land and joint venture activity.
• Assist in budget monitoring and forecasting / cashflow modelling with Senior Development Manager and Finance teams.
• Prepare decision papers and manage governance/finance reporting with risk management embedded.
• Lead procurement of services for the programme per OPDC procedures.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary consultancy teams and appraise outputs.
