Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to cover utilities and infrastructure projects in the North West. You will own commercial activities from procurement through to final account, interfacing with project teams to protect value and ensure contractual compliance.

The role focuses on NEC contract management, cost reporting, and stakeholder liaison with clients and subcontractors, as part of a growing contractor's commercial team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong cost management and forecasting skills.
• Good commercial and contractual knowledge, NEC experience.
• Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of utilities and civil engineering projects
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and cost reports
• Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
• Monitoring project costs, forecasts and commercial performance
• Identifying and managing variations and compensation events
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor negotiations
• Working with NEC contracts
• Managing projects through to final account
• Building strong relationships with clients and operational teams
