Job summary

Mace is seeking a highly experienced commercial professional to lead contract strategy on major infrastructure projects in the UK. You will bring MRICS qualification, a degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying, and a track record of managing complex pre‑award activities across NEC4 contracts.

You will operate in a matrix environment with senior stakeholders, driving high performance and ensuring compliant, high‑quality commercial outcomes with a flexible, hybrid working

Qualifications

Degree level in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
MRICS qualification (or working towards)
Evidence of ongoing management development and personal development
Experience in similar role at major infrastructure projects
Experience working across complex matrix teams
Success at creating an aligned culture focused on high performance
Adept in use of standard forms of contract and implementing commercial strategies
NEC4 expertise with practical drafting, negotiation, and execution of NEC4 contracts (ECC/PSC incl. short forms)
Significant pre-award cycle experience including tender strategy, documentation, bidder engagement, evaluation and negotiation
