Operating at the heart of a nationally significant programme of works, this business plays a key role in maintaining and building critical infrastructure while supporting long-term investment and future growth.
We are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor who can provide strategic commercial leadership across a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will oversee all contractual and financial aspects of project delivery, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved whilst maintaining high standards of governance, compliance and performance. Working closely with Project Managers and wider delivery teams, you will lead contract administration, financial management, tender evaluation, risk management and dispute resolution activities, while driving best practice across the commercial function. You will also play an important role in developing and mentoring quantity surveying professionals, helping to build capability across the wider team.
Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts is essential. You will be a confident leader who can influence stakeholders, manage complex contractual challenges and drive continuous improvement across a project portfolio and commercial team.
Salary and benefits: Up to £83,000 plus up to 10% bonus, company car, hybrid and flexible working, generous pension scheme (Up to 12% company contribution), annual leave entitlement with the option to buy additional days, family-friendly benefits, private medical options, professional development support and a comprehensive flexible benefits package.
Location: Bristol with hybrid working and regular travel to operational sites across the region.
