Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial management for a designated programme area within the IOS Contract. You will report to the Commercial Lead and work with project managers and delivery teams to ensure robust contractual compliance under NEC3 options E and A.

The role involves managing financial risk, delivering transparent reporting, and seeking efficiencies while collaborating across alliance partners Barhale, Kier and M Group.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of NEC3 forms of contract.
• Experience working in a complex matrix team environment.
• Thorough understanding of relevant construction contract law.
• Professional qualification (RICS/CIOB/ICE).
• Degree in construction or commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of the allocated programme area.
• Provide transparent, accurate and timely commercial reporting.
• Adherence to alliance governance to satisfy contractual and legal requirements.
• Identify and deliver commercial process efficiencies.
• Identify and proactively manage financial and commercial risk.
• Foster close working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Engender a culture of commercial challenge.
• Control costs, maximise value and minimise future liabilities.
