Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of an alliance-based programme. You will report to the Commercial Lead and ensure governance, reporting, and risk management across a defined programme area.

You will need NEC3 familiarity, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to work in a matrix environment across the AW region. Travel to meet stakeholders is essential, with a focus on delivering value and compliant commercial practice.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NEC3 forms of contract.
• Experience working in a complex matrix team.
• Strong understanding of construction and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial management for an allocated programme area of an alliance contract.
• Report commercially to the Commercial Lead and maintain governance standards.
• Deliver transparent, accurate and timely commercial reporting.
• Adhere to alliance governance to satisfy contractual and legal requirements.
• Identify and deliver commercial process efficiencies and manage commercial risk.
• Foster close working relationships with all stakeholders and promote collaborative culture.
• Control costs, maximise value and minimise liabilities.
• Escalate issues promptly and take accountability for resolving problems.
