Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking a Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and contractual aspects of UK construction projects from pre-construction through final account. You will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to control costs, assess variations, prepare CVRs, and support governance with robust reporting and change control.

The role requires strong knowledge of JCT, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a proactive approach to value engineering

Qualifications

Strong cost management and budgeting capabilities.
Experience delivering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education or public sectors.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office and commercial management software.

Responsibilities

Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
Undertake cost planning and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage procurement activities including tender analysis and subcontract negotiations.
Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and documentation.
Assess and process subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts.
Produce monthly CVRs and financial reports for senior leadership.
Administer contracts including JCT and payment applications.
Identify variations, change control, and final account agreements.
