Job summary

Queen Mary University of London is seeking a Strategic Projects Officer to provide project management and delivery support across the Business School's strategic initiatives, including business development, accreditation and internationalisation.

Working within the Strategic Development Team, you will support governance, reporting and planning to translate priorities into measurable outcomes and contribute to the school's continued growth and international profile.

About the Role

The Strategic Projects Officer will provide project management and delivery support across a portfolio of strategic initiatives within Queen Mary Business School. Working as part of the Strategic Development Team, the role will support the planning, coordination and implementation of projects linked to business development, executive education, accreditation, portfolio development, internationalisation and organisational growth.

The postholder will support project governance, stakeholder engagement, business case development, reporting and implementation planning, helping to ensure strategic priorities are effectively translated into measurable outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future development of one of the UK's leading and most internationally diverse business schools.

About You

You will be educated to degree level or possess equivalent professional experience, with a project management qualification and have experience of supporting or delivering projects, programmes or change initiatives within a complex organisation. You will possess excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Experience of project management, business planning, continuous improvement or strategic development activity would be advantageous. You will be proactive, adaptable and capable of supporting the successful delivery of complex initiatives and organisational priorities.

About the School

Queen Mary Business School is made up of 5 departments, covering Accounting & Financial Management, Business & Society, Marketing, People & Organisations, and Business Analytics & Applied Economics. The School has approximately 3000 undergraduate students, 800 postgraduate taught students and 100 PhD students. The School is located within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which is comprised of five Schools that deliver the research and education activity of the Faculty.
