Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking a Programme Coordinator to support the Finance suite of programmes within the Business School. The role is hybrid, based at South Kensington and White City campuses, with a salary of £42,505 to £47,213 per annum.

You will report to the Senior Programmes Manager and assist with coordinating administrative activities, supporting Academic Directors and coordinating with diverse stakeholders across the year. The position is full-time and open-ended.

About the role

We are seeking to recruit a Programme Coordinator to work within the Finance suite of programmes. The suite recruits approximately a third of all admitted Business School students each year and has a large international representation.

What you would be doing

Reporting to the Senior Programmes Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of effective and efficient administrative support to the Finance suite of programmes ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the modules throughout the academic year. You will also provide secretarial and administrative support to the Academic Directors.

Sharing our enthusiasm and ambition to deliver programmes of the highest quality, you will have proven experience of supporting a variety of stake-holders; of managing a demanding workload effectively and of responding flexibly to opportunities and challenges as they arise.

Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills are vital for this role, as is a strong customer focus and excellent attention to detail. You will demonstrate exemplary administration and IT skills and experience working in PA/EA work would desirable. You must be a strong team player with the ability to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable balancing multiple deadlines and prioritising effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a pro‑active attitude and ability to juggle several tasks confidently. You should have experience working with MS Office and large amounts of data, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Previous experience of working in higher education is desirable but not essential.

This is a full time and open‑ended position, based at South Kensington & White City campuses (hybrid). All appointments will normally be made at the bottom of the salary range.
