Liverpool City Council is seeking a Head of Development Management to lead Strategic Projects and Major Planning Applications in Liverpool. You will drive the delivery of high‑quality developments and coordinate cross‑team efforts within the Planning Teams and City Development directorate.

The role involves advising senior managers, representing the council at key meetings, and building strong partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders to deliver growth and housing objectives.

Responsabilités

• Lead on Strategic Projects and Major Planning Applications across Liverpool.
• Coordinate strategic projects and major applications from submission through negotiation, determination and implementation.
• Advise senior managers and deputise at key meetings (e.g., Corporate Director, service Director).
• Collaborate with partners including the Combined Authority and Homes England to meet council objectives.
• Prepare information and liaise with Committee Services for Planning Committee and other meetings.
