Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Project Manager to join the Operations & Safety team within Intelligent Infrastructure. The role focuses on delivering transport and mobility projects with strong emphasis on carbon, resilience, safety and digitisation across UK and overseas clients.

The role requires an undergraduate degree, PM methodology familiarity, and PM qualifications (APMQ/PRINCE2/ITIL).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree or relevant experience.
• Awareness of Project Management methodologies and relevant experience at various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Relevant Project Management qualification (APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or ITIL Foundation).
• Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to lead and mentor other project team members.
• Able to multi-task and meet various project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of project management services and leadership of projects on time, to quality, and within budget, including primary client interface.
• Manage project budgets and finances, including invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on Oracle ERP.
• Ensure delivery of client outcomes while meeting utilisation targets and reviewing performance with the Project Director.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, colleagues and project teams at all levels.
• Produce project reports, documentation and PM plans including status reports and financial control documents.
• Develop and deploy appropriate project control and management methodologies for proposals and delivery.
