Job summary

WSP, a leading global engineering firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join the Roads team in London & South East. You will deliver highways projects through planning, design and construction, mentor staff, and drive improvements across projects while coordinating with UK and remote teams.

A STEM degree, professional PM qualifications, and NEC/CDM experience are valued. You will work on varied public and private sector schemes, balancing quality, cost and schedule, with hybrid working options

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in project management or engineering.
• Degree in STEM field.
• NEC accreditation or equivalent.
• Memberships in APM/PMI/MRICS/MICE preferred.
• Experience with highway/linear infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder, risk, planning/scheduling & commercial skills.
• Proficient with project management software/tools.
• Knowledge of Designers Duties under CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of highways projects for public/private sector UK clients from planning to construction.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and drive project efficiencies.
• Mentor and support junior staff and contribute to knowledge base.
• Plan, execute, monitor and control projects with limited supervision and manage changes.
• Undertake contract management under framework and standalone contracts.
• Engage with clients across local authorities, agencies and developers nationwide.
• Collaborate with engineers in the UK and remote teams in India.
• Handle multiple accounts and deliver schemes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver outcomes.
