Job summary

The Air Ambulance Service in Rugby is seeking a Project Manager to lead our London Marathon fundraising programme on a fixed-term contract ending June 2027. You will oversee end-to-end planning, delivery and evaluation, coordinating multi‑stakeholder activity and ensuring a high-quality supporter experience.

This role requires strong project management, budgeting, governance and stakeholder relations, with the ability to maximise income from London Marathon participants and align activities with

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within fundraising, events or the charity sector.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to evaluation.
• Demonstrable success in delivering income-generating activities and meeting financial targets.
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience using data and insight to improve performance and supporter engagement.
• Experience of working on a challenge event portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, delivery and evaluation of the London Marathon fundraising programme.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and reporting.
• Ensure governance and PM processes to deliver programme objectives.
• Maximise income from participants through supporter journeys and stewardship.
• Collaborate with fundraising colleagues to align with wider objectives.
• Deliver a high-quality supporter experience that inspires and retains participants.
