Job summary

United Response is looking for a dedicated individual to support community fundraising efforts, including managing volunteer fundraisers for the London Marathon. This role involves ensuring effective fundraising governance and maintaining relationships with operational staff and volunteers.

The right candidate should have experience in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using databases, alongside the ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.

Qualifications

• Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Experience of using a fundraising or CRM database.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Organised and is good at working to deadlines.
• Experience of working in a marketing, fundraising or customer sale facing role.

Responsibilities

• Support operational staff and volunteers to fundraise.
• Guide on fundraising governance aligned with policies.
• Lead recruitment of London Marathon volunteer fundraisers.
• Ensure supporter actions are processed quickly and thanked.
• Update fundraising database and keep it accurate.
