Job summary

Canford School is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support merger planning, due diligence and strategic initiatives. The role involves financial analysis, reporting, and providing commercial support to senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the CFO, you will develop new reports, assist with a new forecasting system and ensure high-quality financial insight while meeting deadlines and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in Project Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop new financial reports and support the implementation of a new forecasting system.
• Support merger planning with financial analysis, modelling and reporting for decision-making.
