You will provide strategic leadership and professional advice to senior leaders, guiding policy development, service transformation, and performance improvement across a complex public sector environment, coordinating cross-departmental projects with elected members and partners.

Qualifications

• Strong experience providing strategic leadership and professional advice within a complex public sector or local government setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and specialist expertise to senior leaders, supporting the development and implementation of key policies and strategies.
• Drive service improvement, business planning, budget management and performance delivery to ensure high-quality and value-for-money outcomes.
• Lead and influence stakeholder engagement, building strong relationships across partners, communities and elected members.
• Support and deliver cross-organisational projects and priorities, managing resources and teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Act as an ambassador for strategic priorities, representing the organisation and promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
