Cardiff Capital Region seeks a Programme Management Business Partner to turn strategy into delivery, leading complex programmes from concept to completion. You will manage budgets, risks and dependencies while collaborating with regional partners to realise benefits for businesses and communities.

The role requires proven leadership, strategic thinking and strong stakeholder engagement across multi‑agency environments to secure commitment and drive regional impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading complex programmes, projects or portfolios.
• Expert knowledge of programme/project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience of managing budgets, contracts, funding agreements and delivery partners.
• Experience of influencing and working with senior leaders, partners, and external organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full programme lifecycle for complex strategic programmes ensuring compliance with funding agreements and governance requirements.
• Develop and maintain programme plans, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, partners and stakeholders to ensure activities are aligned and delivered effectively.
• Oversee budget management, financial forecasting and expenditure monitoring, ensuring value for money.
