Job summary

Nettitude Group is seeking a Programme Lead in Birmingham to own end-to-end delivery of a strategic transformation programme, aligning multiple products, backlogs and technology layers into a clear path to business value. You will drive an agile, product‑led approach, maintain the critical path, and report to executive stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership of two Senior Project Managers, cross-functional matrix leadership, and a focus on measurable outcomes and benefits realisation

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex multi-stream transformation programmes from end to end.
• Experience in agile, product-led delivery focusing on value over output.
• Strong track record with dependencies, sequencing, financials and large-scale change.
• Ability to lead and develop delivery managers and enable matrix teams.

Responsibilities

• Own overall programme success: delivery of outcomes, benefits and strategic objectives.
• Act as the single point of accountability for programme performance and recovery as needed.
• Maintain a joined-up view across products and delivery streams.
• Own the programme narrative with a clear, coherent view across products and technology layers.
• Drive an agile, product-led and outcome-based direction for the programme.
• Set direction and priorities, empowering teams to decide how to deliver.
• Maintain alignment across multiple product backlogs so products move to a common outcome.
• Support a healthy, sustainable delivery flow and protect pace and quality.
• Hold the critical path against the benefits case and ensure benefits land as planned.
• Keep delivery aligned to business value and measurable outcomes with early flagging of slippage.
• Lead, manage and develop the two Senior Project Managers and matrix teams across delivery resources.
• Maintain capacity and capability visibility and support prioritisation/hiring decisions.
• Build an accountable delivery layer with decisions made within the team.
• Own programme-level sequencing and manage cross-product dependencies.
• Maintain visibility of the critical path and delivery constraints.
• Own end-to-end exit roadmap for legacy platforms if applicable.
• Oversee programme budget and forecast, flag risks early.
• Support investment decisions based on value and delivery constraints.
• Establish governance proportional to programme needs and manage RAID.
• Provide a clear, decision-oriented status view focusing on delivery confidence.
• Surface risks and decisions early and elevate where needed to maintain momentum.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and other functions to translate priorities into outcomes.
