Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner for a manufacturing client in Randburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on optimizing schedules, balancing demand with capacity, and ensuring on-time delivery through robust planning processes.

You will develop detailed production schedules, monitor progress, coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams, analyze data to remove bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement in the planning function.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with production planning software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle; APS systems).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, order priorities, and resource availability.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address unforeseen delays or changes.
