Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join a busy manufacturing operation in Wellingborough. You will balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory management, and operational efficiency, developing and maintaining schedules to support business objectives and smooth day-to-day operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in production planning, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with SAP and planning systems alongside MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and optimise production schedules to support manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor performance against plan and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse scheduling issues and collaborate with operations to resolve challenges.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities across departments.
• Track critical production activities to ensure delivery targets are met.
• Lead scheduling reviews and planning meetings with stakeholders.
• Produce performance reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate delays and recommend solutions to maintain efficiency.
