Job summary

Refresco in Kegworth is seeking a Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team. You will develop robust production plans that maximise factory utilisation while minimising costs and supply risks, balancing customer service and efficiency.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will translate forecasts into schedules, address constraints before they affect service, and drive improvements across planning processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with understanding of production planning and S&OP processes.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term production and capacity plans to meet customer demand and optimise factory utilisation.
• Translate sales forecasts into achievable production schedules around maintenance and promotions.
• Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, material, labour and service risks through scenario planning and contingency planning.
• Investigate stock shortages and planning variances, implementing corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, systems, and reporting; explore automation and inventory optimisation.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights to improve service levels, plan adherence and capacity utilisation.
