Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Production Planner in Leamington Spa to convert the top level build plan into a stable, executable production plan across manufacturing and sub-assembly areas. You will ensure customer demand, material availability, production capacity and constraints align for on-time delivery, applying strong MRP knowledge and proactive process improvements.

This role demands an organised, analytical planner who can work with production schedules and stakeholders to maintain

Strong MRP planning capability.
Analytical skills with focus on planning accuracy.

Responsibilities

Produce and maintain a weekly fixed production plan aligned to customer demand.
Confirm material availability ahead of production and resolve shortages.
Liaise with planning, production and material handling teams to ensure schedule alignment.
Control schedule changes to minimise disruption across assembly and upstream manufacturing areas.
Manage planning exceptions, expedite critical issues and implement corrective actions.
Utilise batching, product family loading and sequencing techniques to improve flow and efficiency.
Analyse production load, capacity and standard hours to support level loading.
Maintain planning KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
