Job summary

Prodrive is seeking a Production Planner to join its Newport-based manufacturing team. You will coordinate production activity, ensure materials and resources are available, and keep schedules on track across multiple orders and departments.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience with Excel and MRPeasy. You will work closely with production, purchasing, and stores to meet delivery dates in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production aligned with customer requirements and delivery dates.
• Create and maintain production schedules and manufacturing orders in MRPeasy.
• Monitor progress and update schedules as priorities change.
• Liaise with production teams to ensure timely completion of work.
• Check material availability and coordinate with purchasing/stores.
• Coordinate priorities across multiple orders and production needs.
• Maintain accurate planning records and reports.
• Communicate delivery dates and changes to customers.
• Identify potential delays and escalate issues.
• Assist with general administration and reporting for production.
• Support continuous improvements of planning processes.
