Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production and Material Controller for a permanent, full-time position with an annual salary of £37,000. The ideal candidate should possess industry experience and the ability to drive, as well as basic qualifications in English and Maths. Qualifications

• Industry experience is ideal but basic training will be provided.
• Candidates must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in planning and production control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement work schedules and monitor productivity.
• Ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Liaise with Planning Manager and Workshop Superintendent.

Skills

Ability to drive

Basic English and Maths qualifications (min. GCSE level 4 / grade C)

Able to read and work direct from engineering drawings

5 years of workshop production, operations and planning

Experience in procurement and purchasing
