Job summary

A global technology company in the UK seeks a Production & Material Controller to maintain the flow of materials and ensure timely production. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing planning and strong ERP system knowledge. Responsibilities include building production schedules, managing material shortages, and coordinating logistics. You will be an integral part of operations, joining a growing team committed to excellence in precision imaging technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing Planning or Production Control, ideally in electronics or SME manufacturing.
• Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge.
• Excellent data literacy and analytical skills.
• Comfortable reading BOMs, drawings, work instructions, and managing revisions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end flow of materials and production.
• Build and maintain the Master Production Schedule.
• Generate kit lists and support kitting/packaging.
• Manage despatch of component kits to sub-assembly partners.
• Lead daily shop floor review meetings to monitor performance.
