Job summary

Burford Capital is seeking a Product Owner to lead ongoing development and operation of Burford's investment modelling platform. You will act as the link between the Strategy and Quantitative Analytics team, the Technology Team, and platform users, owning product requirements, specifications and the development plan.

You will work with developers and business analysts to deliver crucial modelling infrastructure, ensuring accurate calculations and clear analytical logic across multiple

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role delivering software products.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field.
• Development experience with Python is strongly preferable.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements, specifications and development plans for Burford's investment modelling platform workstreams.
• Translate user needs into clear functional requirements and technical specs.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure numerically correct calculations and outputs.
• Lead user acceptance testing and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver software changes.
