Burford Capital is seeking an Associate Product Owner to lead development and operation of Burford’s investment modelling platform. You will own product requirements and the development plan, working with developers and business analysts to deliver critical modelling infrastructure.

The role requires 2–4 years in product ownership, STEM degree, and practical Python experience, within an Agile environment. A strong analytical mindset and excellent communication are essential for cross-team

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar software-delivery role.
• Experience collaborating with development teams in an Agile setting.
• Development experience with Python is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own the requirements for multiple workstreams within the investment modelling platform.
• Draft functional and technical specifications for new features and platform improvements.
• Coordinate with Tech, BI, and business analysts to ensure accurate requirements.
• Lead user acceptance testing and validate numerical outputs.
• Engage stakeholders to translate needs into clear, actionable requirements.
