Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking a System Engineer to contribute to a high‑profile weapon system programme within the PDLT. You will manage requirements, support design certification and work across UK and international customer deliveries, ensuring high standards and technical integrity.

You will apply MBSE methods, coordinate with project managers, and provide technical solutions using trials data and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with System Engineering processes and MBSE.
• Experience with SysML/UML modelling.
• Familiarity with Rhapsody is a plus.
• Electrical systems knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing requirements and supporting publishing Certificates of Designs.
• Advising on In-service Support Queries.
• Solving problems using trials data and electrical drawings.
• Undertake Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) using SysML/UML (Rhapsody preferred).
• Product validation and certification of changes to the standard product.
• Interacting with project managers/planners to update plans and forecast spend/labour.
• Producing and reviewing engineering papers.
