Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage seeks a Missile Architect to shape the next generation of MBDA products within the Future Products team. You will define system structure and interfaces, and lead architectural trade studies to deliver credible concepts working with stakeholders across S&BD, MOD, and industry partners.

The role offers hybrid working with three on-site days and a salary circa £65,000 depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant Systems Engineering knowledge.
• Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage a broad range of activities and planning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Define overall product structure, interfaces and architecture.
• Facilitate architectural trade studies.
• Support deployment of generic policies (GMA, modularity & reuse, design for assembly).
• Assess technology application and maturity using design assessment tools.
• Support product technical and programme phase reviews.
